Hey, Hey! I'm Kayla, wedding-obessed glitz - and - glam, creative - and cute - lover of all things extra, and the owner and editor of Creatively Dream Events!

The very first wedding I planned, decorated and coordinated was executed in 2014. One of my dearest friends trusted me with one of the most important moments of her life at the time, and I poured everything (financially, physically, and emotionally) into that wedding to create a beautiful masterpiece. Finally living the fairytale dream and going through the bridal experience for myself in 2021, pushed me even further to pass on the wedding advice and planning tips I’ve picked up over the years.

I followed the love of my life to live in the suburbs of fast-paced, Houston, TX in 2020; However, I am a born and raised country girl from the city in Deep East Texas, Longview.

Away from the blog, I am a full-time, 7th-year English teacher. I love being an aunt, crafting, decorating, dancing, & singing praises to the most high!
